Today, we release a statement addressing the escalating issue of evictions that is causing immense distress and suffering within our beloved nation. The Zimbabwe Council of Churches, as a unifying body representing a diverse range of Christian denominations, has been entrusted with the sacred responsibility of advocating for justice, peace, and compassion within our society. It is in this spirit that we issue this statement, driven by our deep concern for the welfare of Zimbabwean communities affected by the ongoing wave of evictions.
