Tower of power

 TOWER OF POWER

By Major Gamuchirai Foroma

"Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God." -  Matthew 5:8 (NIV)

God delights in holiness.

Many are times when I visit some places and ask about some Salvation Army soldiers I used to know. It breaks my heart to hear that some have left the Church, some are even drinking, and some have drifted away from God.

Thus, I would want to encourage those that are still fighting on to remain pure and holy before God.

Heaven, His dwelling place is pure, and its inhabitants are also pure.

A pure heart is one which molds character, guide choice and master all the course and conduct of a man's life.

How good and important it is to each one of us that we should have a good, right, and pure heart?

A pure heart isn't a heart that is never tempted.

Jesus himself was tempted but he conquered the devil.

A pure heart is not a heart that cannot suffer.

Jesus, holy and undefiled became a man of sorrows and He learned obedience through what He suffered.

Unless we take heed, watch, and pray we will be overtaken by this wave of rebellion by anti-christ. In the physical we all seem strong and victorious but in the spiritual are many casualties who need strong intercession.

We need to be pure for us to see God.

Hebrews 12:14 - "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy. Without holiness noone will see God."

May we always work towards purity of heart.

Enjoy the rest of the week. - Salvationist online
