On the 15th of May, the Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) Supervisory Council represented by Bishop M.M.S Dube (Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zimbabwe) and Bishop L.M Khanye (Presbyterian Church of Africa) attended the official opening of Zhokwe dip tank in Gwanda district.
The guest of honor Dr Jairos Machakwa the Chief Director for Veterinary Service in Zimbabwe presided over the event. The commissioning of the dip tank marks a remarkable milestone for the community of Zhokwe who are now able to combat livestock diseases and increase their livestock herds.
