On the 15th of May, the Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) Director for Humanitarian and Diakonia Services Ms.Maria Tendai Dendere and Team Leader Kuitakwashe Nhongo conducted a district sensitization and inception meeting for the Emergency Nutrition Support project in Zvishavane district.
The meeting was attended by 25 district stakeholders including the District Development Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer for Zvishavane-Runde Rural District Council.
The project which is being supported by the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (Felm) aims to reduce the risk of malnutrition for children under 5 years, and pregnant and lactating women in Zvishavane district in wards 7 and 16.
