IMPORTANT NEWS RE: MISSION ZIMBABWE!!
Name change but same direction.
Mission Zimbabwe is changing to Mission Zimbabwe Outreach
! While this a small adjustment it reflects some changes to the organization behind the scenes. In the past Mission Zimbabwe was a community outreach of Hope Community Church. While we are grateful for the 17 years of support from HCC, Mission Zimbabwe has grown to encompass volunteers and donors from many churches and the broader community. It has become apparent to the Mission Zimbabwe leadership and has been recommended by the Western Ontario District of the PAOC (Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada) that the organization become its own Christian charity: Mission Zimbabwe Outreach. Some fresh faces have been invited to join a new board under the careful leadership of a few who have been involved since the start. We are excited to announce we are incorporated under the new name and are looking forward to gaining our charitable status under CRA later this year.
Mission Zimbabwe Outreach will continue to work in partnership with the Village of Hope and Vimbainesu Children’s Home to bring hope for the future to the children. Check out the Mission Zimbabwe Outreach website at missionzimbabweoutreach.org.
