Understanding the change of seasons

Bible Text : Jeremiah 8:7 (NIV)

“Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons, and the dove, the swift and the thrush observe the time of their migration. But my people do not know the requirements of the Lord.”

Many atimes we have sorbed, stopped believing cursed God, hate people others even commit suicide due to the things that will be happening in our lives.

On Jeremiah 8:7 Jeremiah draws a contrast between the instinctual behavior of birds, who recognize the changing seasons and adapt accordingly, and the lack of spiritual discernment among God’s people.

It serves as a reminder to remain attuned to God’s timing and purposes, even amidst the changes and situations of our lives.

As Christians we need to pray so that we discern on God’s purpose and plans.

When some doors close let us keep your fingers and feelings off that door.

Let us trust God, understand the change of seasons and the fact that some seasons are necessary to end so as to get to the promised land.

Exodus 16:35 says the Israelites ate manna forty years, until they came to a land where they could settle, and the manna disappeared.

Some Israelites did not realise it was time for a change they cursed God because they had not realised the goodness that Canaan was about to bring to them.

Stop fighting, forgive forget and do not judge above all let’s thank God for the new season that is in our lives that is yet to be and trust Him for the things yet unseen.

God’s timing for everything is on his calendar.

He has a calendar for the natural seasons, He has had time calculated since before the beginning of time, and

He has a calendar just for you and for your season in life do not fight the seasons of your life ,embrace the seasons and trust God Amen. - Salvationist  online
