*DAILY DEVOTIONS MCZ MISSION DEPARTMENT*
*Deutronomy 20:1*
"When you go out to war against your enemies and see horses, chariots, and an army larger than yours, do not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you.
*Do not be afraid*
When we face battles, fear troubles us. We start questioning ourselves whether we will make it. We usually concentrate on the opponent. We begin to see the size of army, sophisticated armoury, stature of men, etc. By doing so, we begin to see as if the enemy has advantages over us. We lose the focus that God is with us.
Lets not forget the battles that God has fought for us before. The same God is still with us today. How can we be afraid when our Father is with us? The battle belongs to him. May we not be afraid of the opponent because God's presence with us frightens the enemy even more.
*Prayer*
Lord we thank you for the assurance that you are with us. Help us not to be afraid, knowing you are a victor.
