*2 Chronicles 12:7 NIV*
[7] When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, this word of the Lord came to Shemaiah: “Since they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them but will soon give them deliverance. My wrath will not be poured out on Jerusalem through Shishak.
When prophet Shemaiah declared that God will allow Israel to be defeated because of their rebellion,they humbled themselves in repentance and God delivered them.
When attacks occur our way out is humbling ourselves before the Lord.
*Prayer*
God I pray that you give me a humble spirit and an understanding that deliverance is tied to humility.
