Remembering Archbishop Matarirano Manhango




HARARE – The government has announced a State-assisted funeral for the late Archbishop Loveless Matarirano Manhango, founder of the Bethsaida Apostolic Church.


Bishop Manhango passed away on November 5 at the age of 104.


In 1952, he established the Bethsaida Apostolic Church, which has since grown to include branches worldwide, with a following of over 200,000.


In addition to his religious leadership, Bishop Manhango is remembered for his significant role in Zimbabwe's liberation struggle and his dedication to philanthropy, including the establishment of education trusts to support the nation’s development.
