When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret and moored to the shore. And when they got out of the boat, the people immediately recognized him and ran about the whole region and began to bring the sick people on their beds to wherever they heard he was. And wherever he came, in villages, cities, or countryside, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and implored him that they might touch even the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched, it was made well.

Mark 6:53‭-‬56 ESV

The powerful Lord.

We have a powerful God, but however, we need to play our part as believers.

The people at the land of Gennesaret managed to:

1. Immediately recognised Jesus when he arrived.

2. Have faith to bring their sick relatives and friends to him.

3. Become witnesses of Jesus Christ's healing hand when their relative were made well.

As Christians, we can never experience the Lord's power unless we recognise Jesus' presence in our lives.

Sometimes, we do not get the things we want because we don't see Jesus immediately.

 

I pray that we may see the powerful Lord in our lives.

Again, we need to trust Him with our cares and those of our friends and relatives.

"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." 1 Peter 5:7

Christ does not disappoint, He is powerful to heal every wound, every sickness, and every broken heart. 

"He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3

The Lord is able to make you well.
