*Greater Harare WEF Service update*
The Greater Harare Mubatanidzwa Wemadzimai is currently conducting its quarterly service at the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe in Tafara. The event attracted over 1,000 women from the metropolitan province. During the service, Rev. Thodhlana, Chair of the ZCC LEF, delivered a significant presentation on peace and conflict transformation, with a particular emphasis on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), which poses a major threat to peace among women.
This service is especially timely as the nation prepares to commemorate the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV. These days are set aside to raise awareness of the impact of violence against women, promote initiatives aimed at prevention and support, and encourage communities to unite in the fight against GBV.
