The Zimbabwe Council of Churches in partnership with Act for Peace distributed much needed food supplies to 50 households as part of the multi year Food for Assets (FFA) Program. The participants earned these food items through their hard work in gully reclamation, bush clearing and landscaping at Runyararo Primary School and Health Center. We celebrate their resilience and unity. Their dedication to community development truly shines through.
Each family received:
✅40kg of mealie meal
✅4 litres cooking oil
✅8 kg Sugar beans
This initiative not only provides food security but also strengthens the spirit of collaboration and support within the Runyararo community. We would like to appreciate the support from the Government of Zimbabwe in this resilient building program which combines food relief with community work, promoting long-term development in Chimanimani.
