Deuteronomy 3:20
Until the Lord has given rest to your brethren as to you, and they also possess the land which the Lord your God is giving them beyond the Jordan. Then each of you may return to his possession which I have given you.
We read of the tribes of Israel who had secured land before the Jordan river. They pledged to help their brethren secure their inheritance before settling in their own land. As Christians, we have brethren who are still in sin while we have received the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Let our hearts refuse to be comforted while our family members, colleagues and friends wallow in sin and remain in ignorance. It is our duty to stand in the gap for them. True ambassadors of Christ care for those who are yet to know Christ, that they may encounter His love just as they did.
Prayer
Oh Lord help me to stand in the gap for the salvation of others that many may be saved, Amen.
