Ecclesiastes 3:1
*TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:*
This means that for every season of our life, God has a timely word for us that we can hold on to, run with, and it will strengthen and encourage us for that season and bring about the fulfillment of what God has said; what God has promised.
But the question is how many of us really have time to receive that timely Word from God? We are we so busy with so many activities, even religious activities that we don’t have time for the Word.
JOSHUA 1:8
*This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.*
It is in the place of meditating on God’s Word that you receive a revelation; a timely word from God.
It is in the place of meditating on the Word of God that the promises of God come alive in your heart; they are engrafted in your heart such that no matter what is happening, you are still holding on to the promise God has given you, you are daily being strengthened and encouraged by this promise.
MATTHEW 4:4
*..It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.*
