Let's Press On, Victory Is Certain

2 Timothy 1:12

“For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless, I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.”

Our Struggles

Yes, we have believed in the Word, but we face challenges. Yes, we have married, but there are struggles we encounter. Yes, we work, but financial hardships still overwhelm us, making it hard to save. Yes, we pray, but victory still seems distant as we face many obstacles.

Today’s message reminds us that though we have faith, there are still pressures we face that cause us to stumble. When someone is hurt in love, they may say, “Women are snakes, I will never love again.” Or, if it’s a woman, she might say, “Men are dogs, I’ll never love again.” A woman who has suffered during pregnancy may say, “I will never want to give birth again,” yet later, she may find herself with a child.

I, too, have faced these struggles. I’ve been without money, desperate to find a way to make ends meet, sometimes resorting to wrong methods. At times, we speak with frustration, saying, “I will never do this again,” but later find ourselves repeating the same actions.

Prayer for Strength

Lord, may all the struggles that weigh us down be destroyed in Your name. Help us to stand firm and return to You with pure hearts and actions. May You give us the strength to overcome the challenges we face and keep us steady in faith.

Amen.
