Key Appointment

The Zimbabwe Council of Churches has welcomed a new addition to its ranks with the appointment of Bishop Shingirai Karidzamimba of the Independent African Church. Bishop Karidzamimba was introduced alongside other key figures, including General Secretary Rev. W. Dimingu, the Chairperson of the Independent African Church, and the church's Administrator.

Bishop Karidzamimba expressed his enthusiasm about joining the Zimbabwe Council of Churches, stating that he looks forward to fostering meaningful relationships and collaborations during his tenure. As part of the council, Bishop Karidzamimba will be working alongside 31 member churches that represent Christians in Zimbabwe ¹.
